Hate that basic living? Good. It could earn you $30,000.
BON & VIV Spiked Seltzer is challenging people to ditch the generic vodka soda this summer for a "better basic."
"There's no need to settle for basic, snore-worthy options that prioritize function over flavor," said Chelsea Phillips, VP of Beyond Beer Brands at Anheuser-Busch.
"With BON & VIV Spiked Seltzer, you can have a better basic – great taste without compromise. We all deserve better, and it's time to break up with what doesn't measure up, starting with vodka soda."
B&V has partnered with multi-platform media company, Betches Media, on "When you realize you're basic" to launch the campaign.
From June 24 through to Sunday July 7, you can enter for a chance to win $30,000 by following BON & VIV Spiked Seltzer on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and telling the brand how you're going to ban basic and choose the better basic this summer, using "#BONandVIV" and "#contest."
The contest winner will be asked to uphold the ban on basic from July 15 through the last day of summer and will take a quiz at the end of summer to test their better basic knowledge.
To prep the winner – and others wanting to ban basic this summer – to know a better basic choice when they see one, the brand has released a playful guide.
