Bloomberg Media has appointed Allan Wai as its first global commercial creative director.
He will help Bloomberg deliver "innovative and engaging experiences" across its digital, mobile, video, broadcast and print products.
Wai will also oversee the publisher’s content offerings, as well as the global ad sales materials. He reports into Amy Marks, the head of client solutions at Bloomberg Media, New York.
Wai was the consulting creative director at MTV for six months until April this year. Before that, he was a design manager for creative services at HBO for more two years.
He has also worked at Blister, USA Network, RDA International, RCA Records and Guitar World Magazine.
Paul Caine, chief revenue and client partnerships officer at Bloomberg, said: "Allan is a truly admired and creative force who will bring fierce direction and spark to our forthcoming Bloomberg Studios and our advertising partners."
