Tesco’s music-streaming service Blinkbox Music has released its first TV campaign. Karmarama created the spot, in which a mum, her young son and his toy hippo are transported from their boring domestic life to an over-the-top hip-hop video. For the ad, DJ Fresh remixed the Run DMC hit It’s Tricky, which is available to download on iTunes. The TV activity is supported by outdoor, digital, radio and social media executions. It was written by Simon Connor and Stephen Cross, and directed by Brett Foraker through RSA.
