BETC Paris delivers another gem with deadpan rock mockumentary

Branded film makes Ibis Hotels the star of art-house spoof.

A pop band battles ennui and recuperates from a world tour in a comforting French hotel in a new branded content mockumentary from BETC Paris. The 5-minute black-and-white film for Ibis Hotels follows the Naive New Beaters, an actual French band that racked up 1.7 million YouTube views last year with a 360-degree music video. In true "Spinal Tap" style, they make life difficult for the ever-attentive hotel staff, working through their malaise by acting upon their eccentric impulses.
