Bestival to host London session

Bestival: London edition
Bestival: London edition

Music festival Bestival is hosting a one-off edition in London, giving guests a taste of its offering before it moves to a new site.

Bestival organisers announced in December that the annual event will no longer be held on the Isle of Wight, but will relocate to a new site in Dorset.

This weekend (25 March), Bestival has teamed up with The House of St Barnabas in London's Soho to present Festival Embassy with Bestival.

The event will bring rising stars, intimate acoustic gigs, renowned and emerging DJs and much more, to a Grade I listed Georgian townhouse and secluded courtyard garden. Workshops will also be held over the weekend, including a 'Sound Bath' experience, where those taking part are encouraged to let go of their worries, a tie dye workshop and the chance to make Mother's Day cards. Food will be provided by Zoe's Ghana Kitchen Brunch, which will be providing bottomless brunches.

Festival goers can purchase tickets for Festival Embassy through a ‘Pay it Forward’ scheme. For every ticket bought one will be given to participants or graduates of the House’s Employment Academy. Further tickets will be distributed via the referral agencies that work closely with the charity, and local Soho-based organisations that are also working to break the cycle of homelessness.
