From October it will add an ice cream flavour of the same name – Ben & Jerry’s Save Our Swirled – to its range.
The raspberry, blackberry, chocolate and marshmallow flavoured ice cream will promote its climate campaign and position the brand as "socially conscious".
Ben & Jerry’s will promote online activist network Avaaz’s petition to world leaders calling for a transition to 100% clean energy.
The brand's Save Our Swirled campaign was launched to inspire consumers to demand climate action, it said.
Ed Shepherd, social mission manager at Ben & Jerry’s, said: "Ben & Jerry’s has a rich heritage of campaigning for climate change, and through launching Save Our Swirled we hope to encourage our fans to join us in calling on leaders around the world to support the transition to 100% clean energy."
