Anna Kendrick channels her inner Obi Wan to promote the release of Star Wars Battlefront
Electronic Arts is on a months-long quest to generate excitement over the Nov. 17 release of Star Wars Battlefront. So far, it seems to be working: more than 9 million people logged on to participate in the beta release of the game, setting a new EA record. But nothing they’ve done so far is likely to match the thrill of this two-minute trailer from San Francisco’s Heat.
The spot was unveiled on YouTube today, and will be shown to broadcast audiences on Monday Night Football tonight. Prepare to be humming John Williams’ score all afternoon. (And check out Playstation’s equally stirring Battlefront spot here.)
