London Coffee Festival organisers have teamed up with Bailey's for the event's 2016 launch party on Friday (8 April), meanwhile Rachel's Organic has devised a pop-up milk bar for the occasion.

Event organisers have secured artist DJ Yoda as the headline act for its opening celebrations, meanwhile Bloom Twins, Gypsy Hill and Sonia Stein are also set to perform throughout the evening.

Attendees can expect to sip on two Bailey’s-based cocktails – the Espresso Martini and Bailey’s Flat White Martini, meanwhile the DJ Yoda IPA and London Coffee Festival lager will also be available.

When the party comes to a close, guests will be invited to move on to the Friday Night Throwdown event, which is being hosted by Italian coffee machine brand La Marzocco and Formula E.

Dairy brand Rachel’s Organic will be operating a pop-up milk bar throughout the duration of the four-day event.

The brand has enlisted baristas from Wogan Coffee, who will deliver a series of latte art masterclasses, teaching visitors key coffee-making skills such as texturising and milk pouring.

Starbucks has also revealed it is activating at the festival, and will focus on launching its new Teavana tea range in the UK. The brand’s stand promises a series of touch points, where attendees will be able to immersive themselves in the new range.

Brands taking part in London Coffee Festival's dedicated Lab Programme include T2, where tea expert Maddison Webster will take guests through a Japanese Matcha ceremony, as well as create a series of matcha-based beverages, meanwhile representatives from La Marzocco will be hosting a series of masterclasses and workshops.

Other brands set to exhibit at the festival include Alpro, Bonsoy, Britvic, Cawston Press, Delongi, Hello Fresh, Illy, Lavazza, Pukka and Teapigs.

Last month it was revealed that Hotel Chocolat will be hosting a School of Chocolate during the event, as well as a pop-up Cocoa Bar

The London Coffee Festival is taking place from 7-10 April, at the Old Truman Brewery.
