Audi uses Super Bowl spot to promote equal pay for women

Perennial Big Game advertiser returns with an emotional spot ad from Venables Bell & Partners.

First, Audi challenged gender stereotypes on the toy aisle in Spain. Now, the brand is using its eight Super Bowl commercial in nine years to promote "equal pay for equal work" on this side of the pond. The 60-second film, "Daughter," was made by Venables Bell & Partners, and focuses on a father's anxieties about the lessons his daughter will learn from a world that values men more than women. Directed by Aoife McArdle, the spot will air during the third quarter, giving dads plenty of time to grab some Kleenex.
