Asda kicks off the new decade with a new tagline and a comical campaign.
The spot follows Katie and Simon as they try to plan two different weekends away. Torn between Katie’s adventure getaway and Simon’s relaxing retreat, the pair decide to compromise and unwind in a muddy bog (where they are eventually collected by a mountain rescue chopper).
It ends as the pair enjoy food from Asda's plant-free range for Veganuary, showing that customers don’t have to settle for less with their weekly shop.
The work was written by Jack Smedley, art directed by George Hackforth-Jones and directed by Alex Boutell through Rogue. Media was handled by Blue.
