A lonely Frankenstein uses his iPhone to celebrate with villagers
Apple’s holiday spot is here—a touching film focusing on community rather than fancy tech. Once Halloween is over, things get lonely for Frankenstein, who reaches out to the nearby townsfolk with the help of his iPhone and a rusty but reliable set of pipes. The 2-minute spot is directed by Lance Acord, who was also responsible for Apple’s Emmy-winning 2013 holiday ad. After a contentious year on both sides of the pond, perhaps the tagline "Open your heart to everyone" will resonate a little more poignantly this holiday season.
