Aperol's 20-feet wide sundial returns to South Bank

Aperol is installing its 20-feet wide sundial on London's South Bank to encourage people to get together over a drink at the end of the day.

The Campari-owned Italian aperitif’s activation will also be setting up a bar to give away what "gratuity" Aperol Spritz during what it is calling "aperitivo hour", when the sundial hits 5.

There will also be an Aperol foosball table and a table-tennis table, as well as music and nibbles. The experience runs from 5pm between 11 and 14 July, and from 12pm on 15 July.

The activity is part of the brand encouraging people to be more spontaneous and start their evening with an Aperol Spritz.

Last month, Aperol launched its biggest ever London experience over 10 days in East London, with an orange canal, a Vespa carousel, a slide, treehouses and a large bar.
