Audible, Amazon's audiobooks platform, is looking to consolidate its media activity into one agency.

M2M picked up the digital media planning and buying account in 2014, when it was reported to be worth £8m. Initiative handles media for the above-the-line business.

The review is being run by AAR, which has started contacting agencies.

Fold7 picked up Audible’s creative account last year, seeing off compe-tition from BMB and Red Brick Road in a process that also involved 18 Feet & Rising. That review was also handled by AAR.

Audible had previously worked with a number of agencies including digital shop Firstborn.

Fold7’s brief was to raise awareness of the Audible brand. The agency created noir-style ads featuring a pair of headphones that blend to form a robot’s head, with a voiceover from actor Steven Berkoff.
