Instead of being spread across two days the association's conference was reformated into a one day affair that offered a diverse range of content in Olympia's impressive Conference Centre.
Upper Street Events managing director and AEO deupty chair Paul Byrom hosted the event, asking the questions that mattered to a selection of speakers including Niche Events managing director Peter Jones; Celador CEO Paul Smith; Fespa managing director Fraser Chesterman and COG Research director Philip Wilson.
As well as the keynote seminars, delegates from all of the major exhibition players got to network over lunch, breakout sessions and post event drinks.
During and after the event most of the delegates were pleased with the new format, the quality of the speakers and their content.
