Adam & Eve/DDB wins second Grand Prix at Cannes with Harvey Nichols for Film

The agency has a big night in the category, while US entries for Netflix, Under Armour and Old Spice claim gold

Adam & Eve/DDB has won a second Grand Prix at Cannes Lions this week after taking the top prize in Film for Harvey Nichols' "Shoplifters."

The fashion retailer’s film, which used real footage to show shoplifters getting their comeuppance, was created by Ben Stillitz and Colin Booth, with cartoon faces added to the footage by Layzell Bros.

Earlier this week Adam & Eve had won the top gong in Creative Effectiveness for John Lewis’s "Monty’s Christmas."

Adam & Eve also won a gold Lion for John Lewis Insurance’s "Tiny Dancer", as well as a silver Lion for "The Man on the Moon," the 2015 Christmas ad for John Lewis.

Among US entries in the category, Wieden + Kennedy Portland took gold for two Old Spice ads: "Rocket Car" and "Whale." BBH New York's work for Neflix's "House of Cards" (the Grand Prix winner in the Integrated category) and Droga5's "Phelps" for Under Armour (the Film Craft Grand Prix) also won Gold Lions.
