Launching on 15 March, the agency will be run by Helena de la Barre as the managing director and Dejan Stajnberger as the creative director.

Both join from Euro RSCG Czech Republic, where de la Barre was an account director on clients such as Euronews, Kraft and Danone, while Stajnberger was the regional creative director of Euro RSCG across Eastern Europe.

The office, which will be VCCP's fifth, will open with 15 staff and its first client will be Telefónica O2. The mobile operator is the country's largest advertiser. A majority of Czech households have at least one O2 product in their home.

The business was formerly handled by VCCP in Berlin but the local client wanted a dedicated office.

The agency will also look to win local and international business and will work as VCCP's hub in Eastern Europe should further launches follow in the region.
