Bakery chain Warburtons enlists the troupe in a new spot by WCRS

LONDON — What do you do after getting Sylvester Stallone to star in one of your ads?

If you’re UK bakery Warburtons, you enlist the Muppets to sing about your new giant crumpet. In the 120-second spot, which was created by the countrys WCRS agency, Kermit the Frog approaches CEO Jonathan Warburton with an idea for a new program, "The Giant Crumpet Show," and gets his Muppets crew to sing the "Muppet Show" theme tune but with crumpet-related lyrics. It launched Nov. 14 on British television. The work was created by Andy Lee and Jonny Porthouse, and directed by Declan Lowney and Crash Davenport through Soapbox Films.
