Skittles does a 'mockumentary' style video about a man who "tastes like the rainbow"

Skittles has a history of odd humor in TV spots, and this digital video for the multicolored candy is no exception. The video is shot "mockumentary" style and is about a man whose skin turned to Skittles after an unfortunate run-in with a rainbow. As the protagonist says, "I am a man made of Skittles, and there is nothing wrong with that."

A 30-second teaser shown on digital channels such as Facebook leads traffic to the video, which clocks in at three minutes in length.

Yes, of course it ends with a gag riffing off the company's tagline, "Taste the Rainbow."
