"Documentary Now" on Netflix, using an Apple TV that I've connected to a projector. It's pretentious as comedies go, but it makes me laugh AND feel smart so I've enjoyed it.

"A Seat at the Table" by Solange, on Spotify. It's perfect. She's perfect. I'd name it my album of the year if Beyonce's "Lemonade" hadn't also happened in 2016.
What I’m reading
This is definitely not what I'd call trending, but I'm in the middle of a collection of short stories by Herman Melville. It’s a good old beat-up paperback my boyfriend bought me from a used bookstore. Can't go wrong with classics. But I'm also glued to election coverage on the New York Times iPhone app and fivethirtyeight.com.
