Polaroid's founder lets people see the world differently in new biopic short

Ming Utility and Entertainment takes a look at history for the brand's 80th anniversary.

The story of Polaroid founder and eccentric inventor Edwin Land is told in a new 5-minute mini-biopic timed for the 80th anniversary of the company’s founding. A visionary scientist, Land dropped out of Harvard to pursue his experiments, sneaking into Columbia University late at night to use a lab. Instant photos, 3D glasses, aviator’s goggles and a global sunglasses brand followed. A brand relaunch from Ming Utility and Entertainment includes the Land film and five shorter videos featuring influencers Felipe Pantone, Lion Babe, Puff the Houseman and Gabby David, Elliott Sailors and Ocean + Sky and Skate Kitchen. The spots are running online and on social, as well as in print and in-store executions.
