A photo helps a father show acceptance in Kodak brand film

Camera company finds more contemporary image in Eskimo studios work

Kodak was once the undisputed leader of the photography industry. But to protect its film business, the company sat on its digital camera tech for too long, and the world moved on. Now the storied brand is trying to make a comeback. A branded film from production company Eskimo projects a more modern sensibility, showing an old-fashioned father coming to terms with his son’s sexuality. A picture is worth a thousand words, so maybe they can avoid awkward conversation altogether. The short video was shot in rural Pennsylvania on 35mm Kodak Vision3 500T 5219 film.
