The campaign includes a site with scrollable panoramas comprising more than 3,000 hand-drawn illustrations and animations

Right before Easter, the National Geographic Channel is airing a three-part series entitled "Killing Jesus." The program is based on a book by Fox News TV pundit Bill O'Reilly.

A supporting website created by Boston-based full-service agency Mullen, killingjesus.nationalgeographic.com, offers a rich interactive experience for visitors to explore the presented narrative.

The responsive-design site features scrollable panoramas comprising more than 3,000 hand-drawn illustrations and animations for users to explore.

This isn't Mullen's first work for National Geographic. The agency used a similar technique on companion websites for other Nat Geo programming, including "Killing Lincoln" and "Killing Kennedy."

A trailer for "Killing Jesus" uses the same parallax animation effect as the website.
