Mexico Tourism capitalizes on Windy City chill

A campaign by Lapiz uses snow to advertise to city dwellers

While it's finally spring for most of us in North America, Leo Burnett Group owned Lapiz capitalized on the long winter in a campaign for Mexico Tourism.
During a snowstorm, the agency asked Windy City street artist NosE Lanariz to create "snow graffiti." In response, the artist created several calligraphic treatments for using snow as the medium.
In one work, the artist affixed snow to a wall along Chicago's Dearborn St. On a rooftop also in downtown, he removed snow to spell out "Beaches with sand this white."
As the video shows, the campaign gathered signficant attention among Chi-town residents during the springtime blizzard.
