New Honor Society gives a candid lesson about the birds and bees for Veru Healthcare.
Talking about sex and its associated paraphernalia can be uncomfortable. But not for Amanda, the spokesperson for FC2, currently the only FDA-approved female condom. In a nearly 3-minute how-to video, Amanda demonstrates the use and benefits of the baggy barrier, complete with vegetables, art supplies and exercise props. "Amanda" is actually Amanda Burch, a copywriter at IPG’s St. Louis-based boutique agency New Honor Society, which created the digital spot, social media assets and the FC2 landing page. Burch originally envisioned the script as a vehicle for some foul-mouthed comedienne, but the client liked her performance in the test video so much, they kept her in. The site and digital spot debuted Monday.
