The agency's success with Mucinex earned it MegaRed and Airborne, RB said

FCMG giant RB plc on Thursday announced that it has named McCann Worldgroup the global creative agency for its Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements business. RB’s VMS brands, which include MegaRed and Airborne, had been handled by KWG in the U.S. and Havas WW in all other geographies.

In May, RB tapped McCann Worldgroup, Droga5, and Wieden+Kennedy to join Havas Worldwide in a roster of creative agencies charged with global brands. At that time, McCann was named to support Mucinex and Delsym.

According to RB, it assigned McCann the VMS brands in recognition of the success of the "Let's End This" Mucinex campaign it launched in the United States in October. McCann's work included a friendlier, CGI incarnation of Mucinex's Mr. Mucus.

Droga 5 New York currently leads creative development of Air Wick and Clearasil; W+K, of Finish dishwashing detergent; and Havas, of the rest of RB’s brand portfolio, from Durex to Woolite. Havas had been Berkshire, U.K.-based RB’s AOR since 2006.
