Tire maker employs NASCAR racer Carl Edwards to tackle the science

Tire maker Goodyear teamed up with NASCAR driver Carl Edwards for a series of videos touting the science behind the tires.

The "Tire Talk" campaign by GSD&M has the vetern racer explaining in humorous vignettes how he understands Goodyear tires work. Edwards says "you either get or you don't" towards the end of each spot. Previous ads in the "Tire Talk" series included fellow racer Kevin Harvick.

This is the fourth year Goodyear has relied on the Omnicom-owned, Austin-based agency for creative support.
