The new Google phone, "Pixel," was the tech story of the week, so it’s not surprising that a video the company shared on Facebook tops Unmetric’s list of brands that saw the most engagement on social media. Video posts in general were popular last week. Kleenex used video on Facebook to relate a real story of a caring friendship, Shell put forth its energy innovations in an ad styled like a music video and Air New Zealand spoke frankly to its dad travelers.
Unmetric, a social-media intelligence firm, uses an analytics platform to track brands with the highest amount of engagement for posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Unmetric’s engagement score rates each post from 0 to 1,000, depending on the amount of user interactions.
Here are the posts that reached an engagement score of 900-1,000:

On Facebook, Google posted a simple video that highlights some of the features of the phone, such as its ability to charge up to seven hours in 15 minutes and its endless storage for photos and videos. The post received 51,000 reactions, 45,351 shares and 11,000 comments. The tech giant also paired with Droga 5 to show off the new phone in a one-minute spot.

The "How to Dad" guy, a Kiwi with a great deadpan delivery, demonstrates different fathering-while-flying approaches in this 2-minute video.
