Luxury hotel chain plans to create global brand campaigns after two-year hiatus

Dorchester Collection, which manages 10 luxury hotels around the world, is looking for a creative agency.

U.K.-based intermediary Creativebrief is helping to select a longlist of agencies but is not thought to be involved in the pitch. The brief is for a shop to create global campaigns for the brand.

Leo Burnett’s luxury division, Atelier, won the account in 2011, although the business has been dormant for two years.

Initiative handles media for Dorchester Collection and is unaffected by the review.

The Brunei Investment Agency owns Dorchester Collection. Earlier this year, high-profile people including the US Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, boycotted its hotels in response to anti-gay laws approved by Brunei’s sultan.

The company did not respond to requests for comment.
