DDB New York on Thursday added another executive to its fast-moving leadership team.
Chief Production Officer Madison Wharton will create a new operational model and new integration capabilities for the agency, DDB said. She will report to DDB New York President and CEO Chris Brown.
Wharton was The Barbarian Group's executive director of production. Before Barbarian, she was head of integrated production at Momentum Worldwide, where she she established production processes across the Momentum's North American and UK offices.
"We are delighted to welcome Madison to the team at such an exciting time for DDB New York," Brown said in a statement. "We are on a mission to blaze new trails, and attracting A-list talent like Madison is key to our success. She is creatively driven, passionate about technology with a fantastic breadth of operational, digital and production expertise. She is going to add real value to the leadership team."
Wharton's appointment to the newly created position is the latest in a series of staffing moves Brown has made since taking the top spot at the Omnicom agency in September 2014.
Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo veteran Icaro Doria this month began his tenure as DDB New York's chief creative officer, a hire announced in January.
In February, Brown named Hannah Fishman group creative director/content director; Yael Cesarkas, planning director; and Joel Nagy, director of digital innovation.
