The Commonwealth/McCann division of McCann Worldgroup on Wednesday announced it has named Jonathan Disegi as its new executive VP, global director of strategy and research.
Disegi will lead the agency’s strategic operations in support of the General Motors Chevrolet account.
"As our agency continues to focus on propelling our client’s brand forward, today’s announcement strengthens our team’s ability and commitment to helping Chevrolet achieve its goals as a top global brand," said Bill Kolb, Chairman and CEO of Commonwealth//McCann. "Jonathan will work closely with our global teams to create opportunities and ensure we are effectively connecting our client’s brand to consumers in the most meaningful ways."
Disegi, who was most recently global planning director at JWT New York, held senior-level positions at agencies such as Lowe New York and Publicis.
At the same time, Iris Coldibelli and Charlie Quirk joined the team as global strategy directors reporting directly to Disegi. Coldibelli has worked for the company for seven years with McCann Worldgroup in Brazil as well as contributing to Chevrolet brand strategy in South America. Quirk was previously at Possible in Seattle, where he worked as associate director of strategy and planning.
"We are excited Jonathan, Iris and Charlie have arrived in Detroit, and I’m confident their impressive creative drive and vast collective experience will offer our clients a multitude of brand solutions and help establish and reinforce consistent branding across our diverse global network," Kolb said.
