BBDO Worldwide named top agency network in Warc ranking

US agencies dominate ranking for marketing effectiveness, while Coca-Cola is named top brand

BBDO Worldwide has been named the world's top agency network for the second year running by global marketing intelligence firm Warc.

The Warc 100 is an annual ranking of the world’s top marketing campaigns and companies based on their performance in effectiveness and strategy competitions over the past year.

There is a strong showing from US agencies in the ranking this year, with Starcom MediaVest Group Chicago and 360i New York, ranked top media and digital agency, respectively. Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and DDB Worldwide, were named second and third best networks.

WPP has won the No. 1 spot in Warc's ranking for holding groups, followed by Omnicom Group.

Lowe Lintas India was named top creative agency and its campaign for Hindustan Unilever, "Kan Khajura Tesan" was also the best campaign.

In total, 23 of 2015’s top 100 campaigns originated from the US, more than any other market.

The top-ranked US campaign was Pantene's "Beautiful Hair, Whatever the Weather," by Leo Burnett/Arc and Starcom MediaVest Group.

Warc 100 also ranks the performance of brands and brand owners. Coca-Cola was named world's top brand, while Unilever was named the top global advertiser.
