Anheuser-Busch tackles gender identity in latest "Bud Light Party" spot

The spot from Wieden+Kennedy New York also features transgender actor Ian Harvie

Amy Schumer declares that gender identity is "really a spectrum" during a campaign stop for "The Bud Light Party" with running mate Seth Rogen. The 30-second spot is the latest in the ongoing campaign from Wieden + Kennedy New York featuring the two comedians. Transgender comic Ian Harvie also makes a cameo appearance, hoisting a beer for equality. Bud Light’s campaign spoofs the electoral contest, but previous spots have touched on other hot-button political issues, like equal pay for women and same-sex marriage – always coming down solidly on the progressive side. Bud Light is not alone in featuring transgender people and gender identity issues – Airbnb and Nike have taken stands – and transgender rights nonprofits have recently rolled out their own ads.
